Gondoliers still hopeful...
The far side of town... must have been a bit warmer. The waters here were home to over 300 shilling companies and 15,000 workers in the 1500's (I believe that is the time). This was a cool neighborhood with a large park that was kept and maintained to assist people with the claustrophobia that often sets in when in Venice's narrow streets. This was a working class neighborhood back in the day.
